Description
On landing in Leh we went directly to Hemis Monastery for the second and final day of their festival. It was pretty rough doing a tricky photo shoot at 3,700m have woken at sea level that morning. But we love the results, and it was worth the couple of days recovery. By day 3 or so we were getting well acclimatised and later returned here to stay for the night, having just crossed a 5,200m pass it was like a walk in the park.
