Tilicho Tal (Lake)

Tilicho Tal was yet another wonderful side trip on our Nepali adventure, which was almost entirely composed of such side trips. We spent very little time on the ‘main drag’.

The approach and the lake itself are spectacular. It marked the 3rd time we’d been above 5,000m on this trip, but it still held some challenge, and was very cold as this photo from around 10 AM testifies.
