A red navigation marker, Derwent River, Hobart.

Sometimes you don’t get very long to line up a shot.

I was shooting for a yachting event from the deck of one of the yachts, my elbow wrapped around the rigging for balance and the camera strap securely around my neck, as we tacked down the Derwent River racing. As we approached this marker in the distance took my eye. Shot at 200mm, 1/200 sec at f5.6, hand held from the deck of the yacht I was on, as we sped passed.
