The final point on our traverse of the Darren Mountains centred around the Ngapunatoru snow plateau, was this obscure pass approaching Mt Te Hau and on towards Mt Pembroke.

It turned out to be impassible, and we instead made a descent into the Harrison Valley and out towards Milford Sound.
